As President of Distribution, Bob Broussard oversees the multiplatform content licensing and affiliate marketing of several of the most popular and award-winning networks in cable television: AMC, IFC, SundanceTV, and WE tv, as well as BBC AMERICA, which is operated through a joint venture with BBC Worldwide. Broussard also oversees the distribution of the Video On Demand offerings from IFC Films, IFC Midnight and Sundance Selects. Broussard is responsible for developing and directing AMC Networks Inc.’s distribution strategy and leads the centralized AMC Networks distribution team, which is widely recognized as a leader in its field. Broussard was named to this post in 2006.

Broussard joined AMC Networks in 1989. Prior to his current appointment, he served as executive vice president of business affairs, where he negotiated numerous high-profile transactions including affiliation, acquisitions, and divestitures agreements, as well as rights agreements with professional sports teams.

Prior to joining AMC Networks, Broussard was a corporate lawyer with the New York law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison, where he specialized in mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions.

Broussard is a graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York and holds a law degree from the New York University School of Law.
