Georgia Juvelis Chief Communications Officer

As Chief Communications Officer for AMC Networks, Georgia leads the company’s internal and external strategic communications, including corporate communications, publicity, talent relations and awards. Juvelis also oversees corporate marketing and government affairs as well as issues management, reputation management and a wide range of thought leadership initiatives. She plays an integral role in the creation and promotion of AMC Networks’ corporate story and culture and plays an integral role in driving employee engagement, company initiatives and partnerships that promote inclusivity and empower the next generation of storytellers.

Juvelis is a seasoned communications executive who has spent her more than two-decade career in media and entertainment. Over her 15-year tenure at AMC Networks, Juvelis has held several communications leadership positions, with oversight of corporate media relations, communications related to financial reporting and business transactions, corporate marketing and government affairs. Earlier in her career, Juvelis held communications roles at various media and entertainment companies including Gemstar-TV Guide and Discovery Communications.

She previously served on the board of directors for The WICT Network and has received several industry honors, including being named a PR Week Woman of Distinction, a Ragan “Top Women in Communications – Trailblazer,” a Multichannel News Wonder Woman and one of Cablefax Magazine’s Most Powerful Women.
