As Executive Vice President of Finance, John Brohel oversees all Financial Planning for AMC Networks, as well as all finance functions for AMC Networks International. AMC Networks International consists of 60 channels broadcast in more than 140 countries and territories, including Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. AMC Networks International consists of global brands, AMC and SundanceTV, as well as locally recognized channels in various programming genres including Movies, Sports, Children’s, Lifestyle and Factual.
John joined AMC Networks from Leftfield Entertainment, the leading independent producer of unscripted television programs in North America, where he held the role of CFO and assisted the company in its sale to ITV. Prior to Leftfield, John was SVP, Finance at HIT Entertainment, the leading independent children’s content provider best known for pre-school properties such as Thomas & Friends, Barney, and Bob the Builder. John played a key role in the sale of HIT to Mattel in 2012.
John has an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BS from Fitchburg State University.
