Allison Clarke Promoted to Senior Vice President of National Advertising Sales, Eastern Region, for WE tv and Wedding Central

NEW YORK, NY, March 2, 2011 – Allison Clarke has been promoted to Senior Vice President of National Advertising Sales, Eastern Region, from VP, for WE tv and Wedding Central. She is based in the networks’ NYC office and reports to Scott Collins, EVP of National Advertising Sales for AMC, WE tv and Wedding Central.

"Allison is a world class ad sales executive and we’re excited to honor her with this well-deserved promotion," said Collins. "She has done an incredible job of leading the New York sales group at these two women’s networks, helping to drive revenue growth and sign new clients across a multitude of categories. In her new role, Clarke is responsible for all day-to-day operations of national ad sales for the eastern region for WE tv and Wedding Central, including the development and implementation of overall sales strategies for the networks and working with senior management to create an annual Upfront sales presentation. Clarke also oversees sales revenue goals and manages the networks’ New York sales team to maximize existing client relationships and attract new advertisers. She has been instrumental in selling through high-impact sponsorship packages that include in-show product integrations, digital extensions, VOD, and customized client short-form content creation.

During her tenure at WE tv, Clarke has been instrumental in helping drive revenue growth +70% over the last three years.

Prior to joining WE tv in 2008 as VP of national ad sales, Clarke held numerous positions at NBC Universal, most recently as advertising sales director for Bravo Media. Prior to that she worked at MTV Networks.

Clarke has a bachelor’s degree in management from Long Island University, C.W. Post. She is a member of WICT and AWNY.
