AMC Names Nancy Kane Leidersdorff Vice President of Media Planning

New York, NY – August 23, 2010 – AMC announced today that it has named Nancy Kane Leidersdorff to the position of Vice President of Media Planning. She reports to Tom Halleen, Senior Vice President, Programming & Scheduling. Leidersdorff joins AMC from Nickelodeon Networks where she was Vice President of Media Planning in the Programming Department. Leidersdorff is based in New York.

Leidersdorff leads AMC Programming’s Media Planning division across the four AMC networks: AMC, AMC HD, AMC Canada, and AMC Canada HD networks. She is responsible for executing the schedule through the creation of daily program logs, while setting priorities for promotion and on-air campaigns in support of the networks’ programming.

Leidersdorff is the 2003 recipient of the Scripps Networks President’s Award and a graduate of Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
