AMC NETWORKS ANNOUNCES A KEY ADDITION TO ITS ADVERTISING SALES GROUP AND SEVERAL PROMOTIONS

Headed Into 2018 Upfront, Company Welcomes New Talent And Recognizes Contributions Of Proven Leaders With New Roles And Responsibilities

NEW YORK, NY, February 7, 2018 – AMC Networks today announced an important addition to its advertising sales group, as well as a number of promotions to recognize the success and contributions of key members of the team as the company heads into the 2018 upfront season.

BJ Arnold has joined AMC Networks as Vice President of Western Sales, running the company’s Los Angeles ad sales office. He comes to AMCN after spending nearly three decades with FOX, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President of Brand Integration for the FOX Networks Group. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Western Sales and Integrated Marketing for the FOX Broadcasting Company.

Tony Song, who joined AMC Networks in 2010 and has been serving as the Vice President of Advertising Sales focused on WE tv and IFC, is shifting over to the same role on the team handling AMC and SundanceTV. Previously, he worked at BET Networks.

Amy Goffin is being promoted to Director of Advertising Sales, supporting AMC and SundanceTV. Goffin joined AMC Networks as an Account Executive in 2008 and previously worked at NBC Universal and TV Guide.

Heather Dowd-Priel has been promoted Director of Advertising Sales for IFC and WE tv. Dowd-Priel joined AMC Networks in 2013. She previously worked at NBC, where she was an Account Executive for 14 years representing NBC News, Bravo and most recently the Prime, Late Night and Daytime dayparts. Earlier in her career, she worked as a buyer on the agency side.

Arnold reports to Collins. Song and Goffin report to Marc Krok, Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales for AMC and SundanceTV, and Dowd-Priel reports to Allison Clarke, Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales for IFC and WE tv.
