An Upgrade for Viewers Who Want a Premium AMC Experience Now Available in Major TV Markets Across the Country

AMC Premiere Offers Commercial-Free Viewing, Full-Season Binge Options For Selected Series, First-Look Content and Other Benefits

NEW YORK, NY, July 11, 2018 – AMC announced today that AMC Premiere is now available to YouTube TV subscribers. AMC Premiere is a upgrade for viewers who want a premium AMC experience. A first-of-its-kind offering for viewers who receive AMC as part of their television service, AMC Premiere provides commercial-free viewing of in-season original AMC series, such as “The Walking Dead,” and “Preacher,” as well as exclusive and first-look content, extended episodes, curated movies, the ability to binge certain shows ahead of linear viewers and other benefits. AMC Premiere can be added to YouTube TV for $5 per month.

“Our viewers are at the center of AMC Premiere’s success, and this launch now makes it available to YouTube TV customers across the country,” said Mac McKean, executive vice president of innovation for AMC and SundanceTV. “We’re excited to offer commercial-free viewing and the chance to watch seasons of AMC shows like ‘The Terror’ ahead of anyone else, as well as extended episodes of popular AMC shows. YouTube TV has been a fantastic partner and the launch represents an exciting opportunity for AMC Premiere.”

“YouTube TV is proud to be the first digital live TV service to offer super fans the chance to subscribe to AMC Premiere,” said Heather Moosnick, Director, Content Partnerships, YouTube TV. “As we think about re-inventing TV-watching for a streaming world, it was a no-brainer to offer users the choice to binge AMC ads-free and get early access to some of TV’s most popular shows.”

YouTube TV offers cable-free live TV from over 60 networks, including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, popular cable networks like TNT, TBS, CNN, ESPN, AMC, and FX, and local sports networks from NBC Sports, FOX Sports, and NESN in select markets. Subscribers can watch YouTube TV on any screen – mobile, tablet or computer – and easily watch on TVs with apps built for Roku, Apple TV, Xbox One, Android TVs and Samsung and LG smart TVs. They can also watch with Chromecast, including Chromecast built-in TVs. A YouTube TV membership is only $40 a month and there are no commitments – cancel anytime.

YouTube TV is the second major television provider to roll out AMC Premiere in cooperation with AMC, following an initial launch with Comcast last summer that made the pioneering upgrade option available to Xfinity TV customers.
