AMC Promotes Melissa Wasserman to Senior Vice President Client Solutions and Integrated Marketing

Company Veteran Has Developed Award-Winning And Notable Content For Key Advertisers, Overseen Successful Upfront Campaigns and Distinctive Events

NEW YORK, NY – June 11, 2014 – AMC today announced that Melissa Wasserman has been promoted to senior vice president of client solutions and integrated marketing. In this new role, Wasserman will oversee an expanded staff responsible for generating client solutions for the network while marketing AMC’s programming to the advertising community. She will continue to report to Scott Collins, AMC’s executive vice president of advertising sales.

Since joining AMC in 2007, Wasserman has produced award-winning and noteworthy content for leading advertisers including Microsoft, Lincoln and Hyundai, while developing successful upfront campaigns and enormously ambitious and successful upfront event experiences featuring AMC shows and talent.

“AMC has been almost entirely transformed as a network during Melissa’s tenure, and she has played a leading role in evolving the way we interact with key advertising clients and the value we are able to create around our distinctive original programming,” Collins said. “I am extremely pleased to recognize her creativity and accomplishments with this well-deserved promotion and expanded role.”

Prior to coming to AMC, Wasserman was vice president of marketing and activation for CBS Radio, she previously worked with clients ranging from Pepsi to Nintendo, Unilever, HBO and others at marketing agencies and began her career in a variety of marketing roles at Viacom, including director of consumer marketing for VH-1 and manager of affiliate marketing and consumer marketing at MTV.
