AMC Promotes Programming & Scheduling Team

Krista Sonne Named Vice President, Scheduling and Program Planning

Toby Greenfield Named Director, Scheduling

New York, NY – May 17, 2010 – AMC announced today two promotions from the network’s programming and scheduling department. Krista Sonne has been named vice president of scheduling and program planning for AMC; she was formerly director of scheduling for the network. Toby Greenfield has been named director of scheduling; she was formerly manager of scheduling. Sonne continues to oversee the scheduling of AMC’s linear and non-linear platforms as well as expanded responsibilities in the selection and acquisition of targeted feature films for AMC. Greenfield continues to be responsible for executing AMC’s daily program schedule with expanded responsibilities into AMC’s VOD platform. Greenfield reports to Sonne and Sonne reports to Tom Halleen, AMC’s senior vice president of programming and scheduling.

"The combination of experience, knowledge and vision they both bring to their expanded roles will continue to serve our programming and more importantly our viewers well."

Sonne joined AMC as director of scheduling in 2001. Prior to joining AMC, Sonne was manager of program planning and scheduling at VH-1. She received a Bachelor of Arts and a law degree from the University of Michigan.

Greenfield joined AMC in April 2007 as manager of scheduling. She began her career as a marketing coordinator at SYFY in 2000 and left in 2005 as the programming manager. She received a Bachelor of Science from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
