NEW YORK, NY – July 3, 2015 – Following a record-breaking premiere in the UK, “Humans” made its U.S. debut on AMC on June 28th to an impressive 2.5 million viewers, 1.2 million adults 25-54 and 1.0 million adults 18-49 in live+3 ratings, which include three days of time-shifted viewing. AMC is now home to two of the five most successful series premieres this season among cable dramas with adults 25-54, with “Better Call Saul” at #1 and “Humans” at #5.
“It’s been terrific working with our partners at Kudos and Channel 4 as well as the talented cast and crew of ‘Humans’ to introduce another original series to the AMC roster,” said Charlie Collier, AMC president. “‘Humans’ seems to have struck a satisfyingly unsettling chord with fans and critics alike. We’re so pleased with the series to date, and we’re looking forward to sharing the rest of the season with people, real and synthetic.”
New episodes of “Humans” will air Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on AMC. Produced in conjunction with the UK’s Channel 4 and Kudos, “Humans” takes a riveting look at the advancements in artificial intelligence and the emotional impact that comes as the lines between humans and machines become increasingly blurred.
