More Major League Baseball Coming To Fox Sports Net

National Games from Baseball Thursday Shedule begins April 6!

– FOX Sports Net will once again showcase the most exciting teams and players in Major League Baseball with the return of Baseball Thursday, FOX Sports Net’s national baseball game of the week. The first of 22 live, scheduled Baseball Thursday match-ups on FOX Sports Net features Mike Piazza and the NL Wildcard Champion New York Mets hosting veteran slugger Tony Gwynn and the San Diego Padres on Thursday, April 6 at 6:00 PM.


This season’s Baseball Thursday schedule on FOX Sports Net highlights the very best teams and players from both the American and National League including: Ken Griffey, Jr. and the Cincinnati Reds (July 6, July 20 & Aug. 31), Mark McGwire and the St. Louis Cardinals (May 18 & July 6), Manny Ramirez and the Cleveland Indians (May 4 & Aug. 24), Nomar Garciaparra and the Boston Red Sox (May 25 & June 1), along with the defending World Series Champion New York Yankees (Aug. 17).

The announce team of Kenny Albert and Jeff Torborg return for their fourth-straight year of calling Baseball Thursday telecasts, primarily handling East Coast games. Steve Physioc joins Kevin Kennedy in the booth for most West Coast games. Steve Lyons, Josh Lewin and Matt Vasgersian will also handle a select number of Baseball Thursday telecasts this season.
