New York – July 13, 2010 – "Honey, there’s no way I’m letting you out of the house in that outfit." "Mom, please put something else on, you’re embarrassing me!" Fashion fist-a-cuffs between mothers and daughters are inevitable and wardrobe wars have been waged since the beginning of time. WE tv sets out to make peace in these complex, but loving mother-daughter relationships with its new half-hour original series, YOU’RE WEARING THAT?!? premiering with back-to-back episodes Thursday, August 19th at 10PM ET/PT. While mothers scoff at their daughters’ sense of style (or lack thereof) and daughters are not shy about expressing their disdain for mom’s wardrobe choices, Luciene Salomone, New York-based stylist and YOU’RE WEARING THAT?!? host, has a very clear goal: to help these ladies find common ground and develop a mutual respect for each other’s style sensibility. The premiere season of this nine-part series features celebrity mother/daughter duos including former "American Idol" alum, Kimberley Locke; Charlene Tilton, star of the hit 80s series, "Dallas," and professional poker player, Annie Duke. For photos, please visit http://press.wetv.com.

YOU’RE WEARING THAT?!? features nine mother-daughter pairs, who candidly share opinions about the other’s fashion choices, often uncovering issues simmering below the surface. From a mom in off-the-shoulder fishnet tops and her daughter’s towering silver moon boots, to a mom’s multi-colored spandex and a daughter’s all-plaid everything, these women share their love, hate and often telling explanations of each other’s fashion-challenged wardrobes. Throughout the process, stylist Luciene provides expert advice on how both can freshen up her style, while addressing some of their underlying relationship issues. Each pair is tasked with shopping for the other, forcing them to put their opinions of what their vision for the other’s style should be into action. The duos are transformed with flattering new wardrobes and by journey’s end, strengthen the important bond they share.

YOU’RE WEARING THAT?!? host Luciene provides input and inspiration to the women as they re-style the other’s wardrobe and learn to feel confident in what they wear. A professional fashionista (and mother to her own stylish 10-year-old), Luciene is the former Director of Special Services for Bergdorf Goodman and a graduate of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. Part referee, part therapist and part stylist, Luciene helps the women to make some much-needed changes in their wardrobes.
