As Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for AMC Networks, David Hunter is responsible for overseeing the Company’s global technology and digital resources for AMC Networks and its business units, including the popular and award-winning national cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, IFC, SundanceTV and WE tv; feature film label IFC Films; streaming video services Sundance Now and Shudder; and AMC Networks International, the company’s international global division.
Hunter provides strategic leadership across a variety of technology functions with primary responsibilities including: delivery of IT infrastructure & services, information security systems & compliance, media workflow administrative systems, corporate & business systems, and client support services. In addition, Hunter oversees the development and deployment functions of AMC Networks digital products and properties.
Hunter brings more than two decades of experience in technology and operations having served in a variety of senior executive positions in the consumer brand and print industries. He joined AMC Networks in September 2016 from Cenveo, Inc., a global manufacturer of print-related products. Prior to Cenveo, Hunter held senior technology positions at R.R. Donnelley, Nestle, and PepsiCo. Mr. Hunter began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen LLP and Saint-Gobain S.A.
Hunter received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Delaware.
