As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Sean Sullivan oversees the financial functions of AMC Networks Inc. and its business units: popular and award-winning national cable television networks AMC, IFC, SundanceTV, WE tv, and BBC AMERICA (operated through a joint venture with BBC Studios); IFC Films; and AMC Networks International, the company’s global division. His responsibilities include accounting, tax, financial planning, treasury and investor relations. In addition, he oversees the information technology and creative services departments, as well as AMC Networks Broadcasting & Technology, the company’s full service network programming origination and distribution division.
Sullivan joined AMC Networks in September 2010 from HIT Entertainment, a leading independent children’s entertainment producer and rights owner. For nearly two years, Sullivan held the post of chief financial officer overseeing global finance, legal and business affairs, human resources and information technology operations. He brings more than two decades of experience in finance and operations having served in a variety of senior executive positions in the media, marketing and print industries. Mr. Sullivan began his career with Ernst & Young LLP.
Sullivan received a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor in Business Administration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
