As President of Business Operations and Studio Production and Co-President of AMC Studios for the AMC Networks Entertainment Group, Stefan Reinhardt oversees content investment strategy, program acquisitions and administration, and brand direction for the company’s leading entertainment brands AMC, BBC America, IFC, and SundanceTV.
Reinhardt is a proven leader and played an instrumental role in the launching of AMC Studios, the company’s in-house studio, production and distribution operation. AMC Studios’ first series, The Walking Dead, is the highest-rated series in cable history. Since then, AMC Studios has produced several critically acclaimed, award-winning and culturally distinctive originals for AMC including scripted series Fear the Walking Dead, The Terror anthology, Lodge 49, NOS4A2, Dispatches From Elsewhere, and more.
Previously, Reinhardt served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Strategy. In this role, he was responsible for revenue, including program scheduling, research estimates and sales strategy and distribution.
Reinhardt joined AMC Networks in September 2004 from Fox News Channel, where he worked for almost eight years in various positions including Director of Business Development & Finance and Director of Sales Planning & Analysis. At Fox News Channel, Reinhardt’s responsibilities included working on business development projects, developing strategies in launching new cable channels, and providing advertising sales strategy.
Reinhardt holds a B.S. in Accounting from Lehigh University.
