2001-2002 Kentucky Men’s College Basketball on Fox Sports Net Ohio

Regional Sports Network to Provide Coverage of Kentucky Men’s Basketball and NABC Classic

CLEVELAND – Fox Sports Net Ohio announced its 2001-2002 Kentucky Men’s Basketball schedule today. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, Fox Sports Net Ohio, made the announcement.

Included in the Kentucky basketball schedule is the NABC Classic. Marshall, George Washington, Western Kentucky, and Kentucky will compete in the tournament. Tournament action will tip-off on Thursday, November 15 at 6 pm as Marshall faces Western Kentucky. Immediately after the game, Kentucky will play host to the 2000-2001 Sun-Belt Conference champions, Western Kentucky. The NABC Classic consolation game and final will be televised on Friday, November 16 beginning at 6 pm.

In non-conference action, Kentucky will play host to the Golden Flashes of Kent State on Wednesday, November 28 at 8 pm. The final Kentucky telecast of the season will feature Kentucky vs. Tulane on Wednesday, January 2 at 8 pm.

The Kentucky contests held on 11/24, 11/28, 12/15, and 1/2 will be preceded by the Kentucky Basketball Pregame Show. The pregame show will be televised 30 minutes prior to the game.
