AMC Attracts Maxwell House to Advertise During Original Series Sunday Morning Shootout

Network Creates Opportunity for Brand Presence On-Air and Online Throughout First and Second Quarters

New York, NY – February 7, 2007 – AMC, basic cable’s premiere destination dedicated to movies and movie culture, announced today that Maxwell House has signed on to advertise during the network’s original series, Sunday Morning Shootout. The show, hosted by industry insiders Peter Bart and Peter Guber, airs every Sunday at 11AM ET/PT, and continues to attract Hollywood’s hottest actors, directors and producers. Maxwell House will have brand presence throughout nine episodes during first and second quarters.

For the second year in a row, Maxwell House will receive product integration, for their Cafe Collections coffee brand, on the Sunday Morning Shootout set. They will also be featured on-set on the coffee mugs, aprons, menu board and box office report. Other on-air elements include tagged tune-ins, and a branded trivia bumper. Online presence includes a logo and link on amctv.com.

Airing every Sunday at 11:00 AM EST/PST, Sunday Morning Shootout is a weekly half-hour series on AMC that offers A-level celebrity talent interviews from in the studio and on-location from entertainment hot spots around the world. Guber is the chairman of Mandalay Pictures, former CEO of Sony Pictures, and producer of dozens of Hollywood’s most successful movies including MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, BATMAN and RAINMAN. Bart is editor-in-chief of Variety and a former reporter for The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. In his career as an executive at Paramount Pictures and as president of Lorimar, Bart played a major role creating classics like THE GODFATHER, ROSEMARY’S BABY and THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE. Now in its fifth season, Sunday Morning Shootout has gained both critical and industry acclaim for its timely and relevant discussion topics and its roster of A-list guests.

Using a programming formula that couples valuable iconic movies with the highest quality original content, AMC has seen its ratings dramatically grow in the last three years, providing record rating growth in every day part each year since 2002. The network’s investment in its film library, programming specials and original content had a tremendous impact in 2004 and 2005, rewarding AMC with its best years ever. In 2006, AMC had continued momentum. Bolstered by the success of the network’s first-ever original movie event Broken Trail, as well as other top performances, 2006 ranked as AMC’s best performing year ever in primetime household deliveries ranking AMC as a top network in basic cable.

2007 is off to a strong start and AMC has reached new milestones. In addition to being available in over 90 million households, AMC’s January performance ranked the network 5th among all basic cable networks in primetime Men 25-54 delivery and yielded AMC its best month ever in key Adults and Men demos deliveries.
