AMC Creates New Customized Sponsorship Opportunity for Johnson & Johnson

Multi-Night Commitment Leverages AMC'S Library of Films

New York, NY, March 5, 2007 – AMC announced today a specifically customized advertising package, leveraging the network's library of iconic films, for Johnson & Johnson to promote its Visine brand of eye drops. The multi-night sponsorship commitment includes films featuring the lead characters experiencing some sort of eye irritation which aligns with Visine's messaging of providing relief for all types of eye irritation, from dry eyes to red eyes to itchy, allergy eyes. Johnson & Johnson will receive on air presence, for three weeks during the month of March, to include branded open and closes, packaged entitlement bumpers and integrated tune-ins around three movies.

"To continue the successful relationship we have with Johnson & Johnson, we've created a customized advertising package allotting presence tied to specific movies for them to promote with their brand, Visine," stated Arlene Manos, president of Rainbow national network advertising sales. "This initiative reinforces AMC's value of creating branding opportunities that help our clients deliver simple and efficient messages to a wide ranging audience of consumers, who are movie lovers."

Each of the movies, that Visine will be attached to, include scenes within the film that feature the lead characters in situations where they experience eye irritation. Tonight DOWN & OUT IN BEVERLY HILLS (1986) premieres starring Nick Nolte, Bette Midler and Richard Dreyfuss. On March 19th VOLCANO (1997) premieres starring Tommy Lee Jones and Anne Heche and on March 29th THE QUICK AND THE DEAD (1995) premieres starring Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio. All three films premiere at 8PM EST.

Past customized sponsorship packages on AMC have included Ford Friday Night Feature, Hyundai Movie of the Month and f.y.e. – for your entertainment with the network's popular franchise Date Night.

Bolstered by the success of the network's first-ever original movie event Broken Trail, as well as other top performances, 2006 ranked as AMC's best performing year ever in primetime household deliveries ranking AMC as a top network in basic cable. 2007 is off to a strong start for AMC and the network has reached new milestones. In addition to being available in over 90 million households, AMC's January performance ranked the network 5th among all basic cable networks in primetime Men 25-54 delivery and yielded AMC its best month ever in key Adults and Men demos deliveries. In addition, AMC's 1.07 HH RTG is up +23% compared to Jan 2006 performance last year (.87).
