Fuse Amplified Guide: New Orleans Uncovers What’s Hot in the Big Easy

Half-Hour Special Premieres on Thursday, October 28th @ 8:30 PM (ET)

(NEW YORK, N.Y, October 20, 2004) – Fuse, the nation’s only viewer-driven, all-music network, takes a first-ever look inside the sights and sounds of the music scene of a specific city with the premiere of a special installment of the on-going series, Fuse Amplified Guide: New Orleans.

Premiering Saturday, Saturday, October 30th @ 9:30 PM (ET), Fuse’s newest installment of the seasonal style guide finds VJ Marianela hanging out with superstars USHER and HILARY DUFF, as each of the artists’ U.S. tours made stops in the Big Easy. Fuse also gives a tantalizing scoop on New Orleans’ hottest up-and-coming local musicians, including SUPAGROUP, ROCK CITY MORGUE, WORLD LEADER PRETEND, HAZARD COUNTY GIRLS and more.

Amplified Guide: New Orleans checks out some of the coolest local venues like The Saint, Howlin Wolf, One-Eyed Jacks, Circle Bar, Mermaid Lounge, and world-famous Tipitina’s, where Fuse spotted young trombonist TROY ANDREWS AKA “TROMBONE SHORTY.” Fuse even “peeps” the local hip-hop scene with an eye on up-and-comers Magnolia Chop, Choppa, and B.G.

Additional information on the hot clubs, bands, artists and venues, including official websites and locations are available at fuse.tv/neworleans.

Fuse’s Amplified: New Orleans encores Saturday, October 30th @ 9:30 PM (ET) and Sunday, October 31 at 4:00 PM (ET). Check local listings for airtimes of the special on Cox channel 10.
