fuse Names Matthew McAlpin Vice President of Strategic Programming and Scheduling

New York, NY – August 8, 2006 – fuse, the nation's only viewer-influenced, music television network, announced today that Matthew McAlpin has been named Vice President of Strategic Programming and Scheduling. McAlpin reports to Catherine Mullen, Executive Vice President and General Manager at fuse and is responsible for the network's overall programming strategy including scheduling of original series and stunts and overseeing the company's programming research department. This appointment further strengthens fuse's senior management team, positioning the network for significant growth in 2006 and beyond.

"Matthew's appointment is a significant step in the expansion and growth of fuse's ongoing evolution," states Mullen. "He has a proven track record in the network programming business and we welcome his experience and expertise as we continue to serve music programming to our audience of young-adult, tech-savvy viewers."

Today's announcement comes on the heels of a number of significant programming developments led by Catherine Mullen, who was named General Manager of fuse just six months ago. Milestones include the expansion of the network's development team and original music programming slate; key multi-platform initiatives which include exclusive content created specifically for fuse On Demand, fuse Online and fuse Mobile; the creation of a domestic and international program development team, and the launch of the popular, dancing music show Pants-Off Dance-Off.

Prior to fuse, McAlpin was at Comedy Central as Director of Program Scheduling. While there, he was instrumental in the planning and execution of the network's program schedule. He also developed and maintained programming strategies and oversaw the network's on air promotion strategy McAlpin attended college in Seattle at the University of Washington and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Policy.
