LATEST IN SERIES OF INITIATIVES FOR WE TV’S #WE Are Here 4 U WITH NEW ORIGINAL CONTENT ACROSS LINEAR, SOCIAL AND DIGITAL FEATURING FAVORITE WE TV TALENT

NEW YORK, NY — April 23, 2020 — WE tv announced today that franchise hit “Love After Lockup: Life After Lockup” will debut an unprecedented, talent-filmed series later this year. The new miniseries will consist of four onehour episodes, created from self-shot footage using iPhone videos, Go Pros, Osmos, Skype video diaries and interviews, and more. The self-shot series is the latest in an ongoing effort as part of the network’s #WE Are Here 4 U initiative to entertain, inform, and connect with audiences during this unusual moment.

“Our network is focused on real life and our talent are all real people, dealing with the same issues, fear and frustrations as our viewers,” said Marc Juris, President of WE tv. “Nothing is more real than this situation that we’re all finding ourselves in, and this moment in time provides a unique opportunity to add even more relevant and relatable content to our viewers — including important reminders how to stay safe and healthy.”

The “Life After Lockup” cast will include franchise favorites such as: Andrea and Lamar, Marcelino and Brittany, Angela and Tony, Lacey and Shane, Megan, Michael and Sarah, Lizzie, and more, as they navigate new situations and new relationships, all while finding themselves amidst the current circumstances of a global crisis, self-isolation and quarantine.
