PHILADELPHIA, PA, July 24, 2005 – At this year’s CTAM Summit, Rainbow Media further demonstrates its industry leadership and commitment to creating groundbreaking original programming targeting unique audiences and designed for emerging platforms. At this show, Rainbow Media will showcase an impressive portfolio of innovative content developed specifically for VOD and HDTV.
Summit attendees are invited to experience hands-on demonstrations of Rainbow’s flagship VOD products: MagRack, sportskool, IFC On Demand, IFC Films on Demand and We on Demand on the exhibit floor. Rainbow will also host a special HDTV seating area, where guests can preview upcoming HD programming. In the coming weeks, Rainbow plans to make a major announcement regarding HD content tiers.

IFC’S EVAN SHAPIRO AND ACTRESS ROSIE PEREZ HOST
22ND ANNUAL MARK AWARDS
IFC’s General Manager and Executive Vice President, Evan Shapiro, and Oscar?-nominated actress Rosie Perez will host the 22nd Annual Mark Awards at this year’s CTAM Summit on Sunday, July 24 at 5 pm. The Mark Awards are known as cable’s premier marketing competition, offering operators, content providers and trade service companies the opportunity to submit their top marketing pieces in hopes of achieving a Gold Mark Award.
IFC is currently working with Rosie Perez on a feature-length documentary, marking the actresses’ directorial debut. Yo Soy Boricua, pa’que tu lo sepa! I’m Boricua, just so you know!, airing exclusively on IFC in June 2006, chronicles the struggles and triumphs of Puerto Ricans living in the United States, and explores the ethnic pride the parade has provided American Puerto Ricans.
From Sunday, July 24 to Tuesday, July 26, VOOM will host a posh screening lounge for CTAM show attendees to preview its latest content offerings, including content focused on movies, sports, music, travel, fashion, the arts, cartoons, and news – all in stunning high-definition format. The specially designed seating area, open to all show attendees, exhibits the immersive experience of VOOM HD and its programming. In the coming weeks, Rainbow plans to make a major announcement regarding HD content tiers.
WE will tout its hit original series Bridezillas (airing Sundays at 10 pm ET) by handing out free Philadelphia pretzels and branded water bottles to busy commuters at the 30th street station on Sunday, July 24 from 11am- 3pm and Monday, July 25 from 9am – 1pm. Vendors with WE-branded food carts and umbrellas will be located at various taxi stand areas throughout the station. WE will also strategically position branded food carts at Comcast’s headquarters on Monday, July 25 and Tuesday, July 26 from 11am- 3pm.

AMC PRESENTS “PRECINCT HOLLYWOOD”: AN ORIGINAL DOCUMENTARY EXAMINING THE EVOLUTION OF COPS IN THE MOVIES
AMC will investigate the movie cop stereotypes and the development from the gritty realism of the 70’s to the romanticized versions of the men in blue in a one-hour original documentary premiering in September 2005. Precinct Hollywood explores the evolution of the Hollywood “cop film” and offers insightful analysis and details about the connection between real-life cops and their cinematic alter egos. The film features interviews with actors who became synonymous with the genre including Ray Liotta and Roy Scheider, among many others. Precinct Hollywood is directed and produced by Oscar?-nominated and Emmy? award-winning filmmakers Barak Goodman, Rachel Dretzin and Muriel Soenens for AMC.
