Sounds for a Real Six-Feet-Under Kind of Guy”Saddam Gets Spider Hole Listening Suggestions in Special Edition of Fuse's Mixtape Mixdown

"Rock In A Hard Place" Special to Air December 20 at 7:30 PM

NEW YORK, N.Y., December 18, 2003 – What do you do listen to if you are way, way underground – in a spider hole six feet under waiting for the coast to clear? Why you try to make the best of it by cranking up your iPOD with a mixtape of tunes created specifically to help you rock in a hard place.

Now thanks to Fuse and its viewers, Saddam Hussein, the most infamous recent resident of Spider Hole Central, is getting his own suggested spin of tunes that would have been just right for enjoying in his final residence – his tiny underground pad in Adwar – or his new cell in an "undisclosed location." The conduit for this unusual playlist is Saddam's Rock In A Hard Place Mixtape Meltdown, a special edition of Fuse's signature show airing December 20 at 7:30 p.m. (encore 12:30 a.m.)

With each edition of Fuse's Mixtape Mixdown, viewers head to the network's website (www.fuse.tv) to create thematic playlists of their favorite music videos, which are then aired on the network's weekly show. With this special Saddam edition, viewers were asked to provide tunes they think would've been ideal ear candy for the ex-Iraq strongman's underground life.

The Saddam edition of Mixtape Mixdown will feature the most popular music videos culled in part from the online tally, including Outkast's " Bombs Over Bagdad," No Doubt's "It's My Life," Trapt's "Headstrong," Switchfoot's "Meant to Live," Sum 41's "Hell Song" and P.O.D.'s "Boom."
