WE tv Adds Two New Specials to its Original Programming Slate

“Swimsuit Secrets Revealed 2” and “Lingerie Secrets Revealed” To Premiere in 3Q 07

New York, NY, February 12, 2007 – WE tv, the only cable network dedicated to helping women connect to one another and the world around them, announced today the addition of two new specials to its growing slate of original programming. Swimsuit Secrets Revealed 2 is a one-hour special that takes a close look at the latest bathing suit trends, both do’s & don’ts, and Lingerie Secrets Revealed is a one-hour special filled with tips and advice on how to find the perfect lingerie for every body type by learning the secrets of design. Both original specials will air on the network in 3rd Quarter.

“These two specials are a perfect fit for WE and add to our growing line-up of original programming,” said Kim Martin, WE tv’s Executive Vice President and General Manager. “Personal style is one of the network’s key content categories, and these shows provide fun fashion tips that are relevant to our viewers. Swimsuit Secrets Revealed was a hit with our audience last year, and we’re pleased to return for a second round this year, along with an equally entertaining and informative Lingerie Secrets Revealed.”

“Swimsuit Secrets Revealed 2”
Every year women endure the agony of choosing the right bathing suit. WE tv is coming to the rescue yet again with this one-hour makeover special filled with tips and advice on how to look your best at the beach. Celebrity stylist Rachel Zalis gives helpful tips on how to find the best swimsuits for every body type. The show will also offer great beauty care advice including the latest info about smart tanning, the hottest skin care and the best hair care for a vacation. The transformations from ordinary beach bums to confident, sexy and beautiful beach babes will be revealed when participants strut down the catwalk at a runway show. Participants will share how their new swimsuit looks have reinvigorated their self esteem and have helped them achieve a better understanding of their bodies and personal style.

“Lingerie Secrets Revealed”
There is no denying that lingerie captures the attention (and imaginations) of both men and women. And while they may love the idea of lingerie, buying and wearing these undergarments can be a frustrating and insecure experience for many women. Inevitably, what looks good on a Victoria’s Secret model will not look as good in the dressing room mirror. Lingerie Secrets Revealed is a fun and relatable show that offers expert advice on how to find the perfect lingerie for every body type by learning the secrets of design, which cuts are flattering and which to avoid, which colors complement certain skin tones, which fabrics feel the best, and ultimately which style fits best with different personalities and fulfills a particular fantasy. The show will be playful, evocative, and meaningful as women are given lingerie makeovers that not only transform the way they look but also the way they think. A new, confident attitude will emerge that makes each woman feel desirable, empowered and amazing because she will see herself in a whole new light.

These new specials will join WE’s growing list of original programming, including recently announced “Wife Mom Bounty Hunter,” an original true-life series that takes an inside look at the life of Sandra Scott, a married mother of two who lives in the sunny suburbs of Phoenix, AZ and just so happens to make her living as a bounty hunter; “Cheerleader U.,” a series that follows the cheerleading squad at University of Kentucky and explores the fun and rewarding yet physically demanding, high-pressure sport of Cheerleading; and “Designer to the Stars: Kari Whitman,” a makeover series that follows interior designer to the stars, Kari Whitman as she designs for some of Hollywood’s biggest A-listers including: Jessica Alba, Virginia Madsen, Kristen Bell, and Kurtwood Smith.

Today’s announcement comes on the heels of a successful ratings year for WE in 2006. WE’s original programming helped secure 2006 as the best year in WE tv history for primetime delivery of household & core demographics. In 2006, WE tv had +212% more hours of original programming during Prime M-Su 8p-11p than in the 2005. In addition, 2006 is the best in WE tv’s history for Prime M-Su 8p-11p delivery of HH, W18-34, W18-49, W25-49 and W25-54.
