WE: Women’s Entertainment Partners With Over 900 Cable Operators to Present "Summer of Style" Promotion

Net's Largest Affiliate Promotion To Date Designed To Drive High-Speed Internet Sales

JERICHO, NEW YORK, July 1, 2001 – 945 cable affiliates including Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHTR), Adelphia Communications, Time Warner Cable, AT&T Broadband, and Comcast Cable systems have signed on to participate in WE: WOMEN'S ENTERTAINMENT's "Summer of Style" campaign, making this the network's largest affiliate promotion to date. The campaign is designed to promote high speed data sales.

"The 'Summer of Style' campaign is a unique opportunity for our affiliates since it is specifically designed to help them sell one of their most important revenue-generating units – high-speed cable modem service," commented Kim Martin, Executive Vice President, Sales and Affiliate Marketing at WE: WOMEN'S ENTERTAINMENT.

WE: WOMEN'S ENTERTAINMENT will provide all participating systems with a cross-channel sweepstakes spot promoting high-speed internet service and three additional spots starring Colin Cowie, also touting the benefits of high-speed. Direct mail, radio advertising and ad slicks for print will also be provided.

The sweepstakes will run from July 1 to July 31, and will award one viewer $25,000 and a personal style consultation with lifestyle guru Colin Cowie. Cowie is host of "Everyday Elegance," the network's popular lifestyle series, which will premiere it's fourth season in July. Viewers can enter the "Summer of Style" sweepstakes by logging onto www.we.tv.
