NEW YORK – December 16, 2025 BBC AMERICA’s highly anticipated landmark natural history series, Kingdom, set to premiere on Saturday, January 24 at 8pm ET/PT on BBC AMERICA and AMC+, chronicles the dramatic real-life sagas of four African rival animal families – leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, and lions – as they all fight to claim a remote Zambian paradise as their home. Who will succeed in ruling this precious kingdom? Narrated by renowned naturalist and three-time Emmy® Award-winner Sir David Attenborough (Asia, Planet Earth III), all-new episodes of the major six-part natural history will premiere weekly on Saturdays.

In the heart of Zambia, different animals all lay claim to a lush corner of South Luangwa National Park known as Nsefu. Situated on the banks of the mighty Luangwa River and teeming with life, Nsefu is an ideal place to raise a family – and that means that things can get crowded here…

Kingdom follows the stories of a lion pride, a wild dog pack, a hyena clan and a leopard family – who are all competing to make Nsefu their home. It’s a story about endurance, control, ever-shifting power dynamics, and perhaps the greatest challenge of all: raising a family in a competitive world.

This is the longest the BBC Studios Natural History Unit has been embedded in one location, tracking the lives of individual animals, for a single series. Spending around 1400 days in the field, working alongside local crews and experts, Kingdom not only documents the story of some of Africa’s most charismatic animals, but also shines a light on the efforts to protect them from poaching by leading conservationists.

Kingdom, a 6×50’ series for BBC One and iPlayer, is made by BBC Studios Natural History Unit, co-produced by BBC AMERICA. NEW YORK – December 15, 2025 – AMC Networks today announced the promotion of two longtime members of the company’s Communications team, Kathryn Brenner and Stephen Cox, to Senior Vice President of Publicity. In their expanded roles, Brenner and Cox will help lead publicity and talent relations strategies across the company’s portfolio of brands, including streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder and Sundance Now; and cable networks AMC, BBC America, IFC and Sundance TV.  

Based in New York, Brenner and Cox work alongside Joy Phillips, Senior Vice President of Publicity. They will continue to report to Olivia Dupuis, AMC Networks’ Executive Vice President of Publicity, as part of the larger team led by Chief Communications Officer Georgia Juvelis.

Brenner, an accomplished communications leader with more than 25 years of experience, joined AMC Networks in 2018 as Vice President of Publicity. In her time with the company, Brenner has shepherded campaigns across the company’s AMC, AMC+, Acorn TV and Shudder brands, including for popular and fan-favorite franchise series within the Walking Dead Universe and Anne Rice Immortal Universe, among others. 

Prior to joining AMC Networks, Brenner held several communications leadership roles in the publishing industry at Wenner Media, Time Inc. and Condé Nast. She began her publicity career working at Miramax Films.    

Cox joined AMC Networks in 2016 as Vice President of Public Relations for IFC, where he successfully led campaigns, talent relations and awards strategy for the network’s critically acclaimed, Emmy®-nominated hit series Portlandia and Documentary Now!, among othersCox later took on additional responsibility for series across the company’s portfolio of brands, most recently guiding publicity for key tentpoles series such as AMC/AMC+’s Dark Winds and Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order and Acorn TV’s Art Detectives.

December 11, 2025 – We TV today released the trailer and key art for the sensational conversation starter, Love During Lockup, featuring six all-new couples, including the return of fan-favorite cast member, Monique. The popular docuseries returns Friday, January 16 at 8 PM ET/PT, with new episodes airing weekly on We TV and streaming on All Reality, AMC Networks’ new streaming service delivering the best in unscripted reality content and AMC+.

The prequel to Love After Lockup, Love During Lockup, follows six people outside of prison through the early stages of their romance with an inmate. From romantic letters and steamy phone calls to suspicious financial requests, family haters, and heartbreaking battles to bring them home. The show asks questions like, how do you stay human in the face of a dehumanizing system? How do you build love and trust when you have to live apart and behind bars? Former high school sweethearts, three-time divorcée Kayleigh and inmate Michael reconnected years later and decided to make things official with a marriage. Michael, who is committed to managing their money, doesn’t know that Kayleigh has maxed out multiple credit cards in both their names, overspending on Michael and not paying off debt. With feuding moms, concerned kids, and a long-awaited homecoming on the horizon, can their families put aside their differences and support the couple before Michael’s release?

Ayesha & Mikhael (Atlanta, GA)

While searching for love online, Ayesha never expected to fall for big, burly, farmer Mikhael. But because he told her his release was just around the corner, Ayesha went all in. Having never met in person, Ayesha and her best friend go on a road trip that leads them down a mysterious path that slowly uncovers the truth about Mikhael’s family, his land, and his sentence. Monique & Titus (Cleveland, OH)

Since her split from Derek, Monique has undergone a major transformation — she lost 100 pounds, relocated to Ohio, and found a new love interest, Titus, whom she’s never met in person and who is currently incarcerated. The move hasn’t been easy, as Titus wants to keep tabs on Monique. After Titus admits he’s not certain of their future together, will Monique finally agree to meet Titus in person and put their issues behind them?

Rich & Felicia (Houston, TX)

Rich believes he’s found the woman of his dreams. For years, he had recurring dreams about a beautiful woman he loved, who happened to be incarcerated. Determined to find her, Rich searched online and stumbled across Felicia, who looked exactly like the woman from his visions. In prison since 17, Felicia hasn’t known adulthood on the outside and hasn’t been in a relationship since she was a teenager, while Rich has been married. With her release quickly approaching, will Rich and Felicia’s connection overcome their differences once they’re together on the outside?

Goddess, Damond & Bonita (Baltimore, MD)

Damond is a self-proclaimed player, even during his prison sentence. While incarcerated, he reconnected with his former hairstylist, Goddess, and they decided to leap into a new relationship. What Goddess doesn’t know is that Damond is still engaged to his baby’s mother, Bonita, who has been faithfully waiting for his release. He’s juggling both women because he can’t choose between them and wants them ALL to be together. With the help of his mother, he’s even staging two separate releases to keep up the ruse. However, Bonita has secrets of her own: she sold over $100,000 of Damond’s belongings. Will Damond be able to keep relationships with both women? Will he even be able to keep one?

In this newly created role, Luo will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of AMC Networks’ portfolio of targeted streaming services. AMC Networks today released the thrilling official trailer and key art for the anticipated upcoming four-part sports docuseries Rise of the 49ersThe limited series event, exploring the dramatic and iconic run of the San Francisco 49ers during the ‘80s and early ’90s, premieres with the first two episodes on Sunday, February 1 at 9pm ET/PT, followed by the remaining two episodes on Monday, February 2 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+. 

The trailer kicks off with Brady, a San Mateo, CA native and lifelong 49ers fan, along with team legends Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Steve Young as they reflect on the passion and pressure during the “Gold Rush” reign from 1981 to 1995 when San Francisco won five Super Bowls and revolutionized the sport, on and off the field. The series chronicles the rise of the team from underdogs into pro football’s most glamorous franchise and offers a compelling look at the personalities that helped shape the sport.

Utilizing rare and never-before-seen footage from NFL Films, including video of team speeches and behind-the-scenes photos of San Francisco’s legendary head coach Bill Walsh, the series will feature incisive interviews with club legends (and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees) MontanaRiceYoung, Ronnie Lott, and Eddie DeBartolo Jr., among others. Each episode will also feature on-camera contributions from Brady.

NEW YORK – December 2, 2025 – AMC Networks and TNA Wrestling today announced a multi-year agreement to bring TNA’s flagship weekly television show, Thursday Night iMPACT!, to AMC – TNA’s new television home in the U.S. The TNA-AMC partnership kicks off LIVE from the Curtis Culwell Center in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

AMC will feature “Thursday Night iMPACT!” as a two-hour block of action-packed TNA Wrestling exclusively on television every Thursday from 9-11 p.m. ET. The new TNA-AMC agreement also includes extending the weekly telecast to viewers on AMC+.

“We are super excited to bring the in-ring excitement, energy and drama of TNA Wrestling to AMC,” said TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva. “TNA Wrestling heads into 2026 the hottest it has ever been – with intense rivalries and a fan base that loves the TNA stars. New York, NY, November 13, 2025 – In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, AMC Networks has partnered with Dark Winds star Jessica Matten’s Indigenous Film & Arts Academy (IFA) // 7 Forward Entertainment and the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) to elevate Indigenous voices across film and television in a variety of ways, including through a spotlight collection on AMC+.

As part of this initiative, AMC Networks has launched a training program and cross-border apprenticeship program in the U.S. and Canada, offering emerging Indigenous creatives direct access to the film and television industry. These on-set apprenticeships—developed in collaboration with the Indigenous Film Academy and IAIA—provide practical experience and mentorship designed to cultivate the next generation of Indigenous storytellers.

Over the past three years, AMC has worked with the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) and its Cinematic Arts and Technology department to provide internships on the set of the company’s hit noir series Dark Winds in Santa Fe, New Mexico, providing interns with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across production departments including lighting, wardrobe, props, camera and more. With IFA, AMC recently placed interns on the set of the fan-favorite original series Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat, premiering in 2026.

In tandem, AMC+ is proud to premiere Tales from the Rez, a bold new series created with graduates of the Indigenous Film Academy. Directed by Trevor Soloway and produced by Blackfoot Nation Films, Colin Van Loon and Jessica Matten, the series is a compelling testament to the power of Indigenous storytelling. Tales from the Rez will stream exclusively on AMC+ as part of the platform’s Indigenous Heritage Month programming collection, “Celebrating Native Voices.” The collection also includes the award-winning film Lakota Nation vs. United States, Dark Winds and other titles.

Season two picks up a year after the witch hunt, as Sarah (Elaine Cassidy) and Harper (Hazel Doupe) hide in Scotland as anti-witch laws spark hate crimes. When Sarah returns to Sanctuary, a new murder and rising tensions pull her into a dangerous fight to protect her daughter and her magic.

The series is Executive Produced by Monumental Television, Alison Owen, Debra Hayward, Amira El Nemr, Alison Carpenter, and Jill Forbes with Showrunner Susie Conklin. VV James, Guymon Cassady and Debbie Horsfield, who created the series for television, also serve as executive producers.
