Fox Sports Net Welcomes Craig Minervini to the Marlins’ Telecast Team

SUNRISE, FL – Fox Sports Net Florida announced today Craig Minervini will join the Marlins telecast team for the 2002 baseball season. Minervini will host the MARLINS ON DECK pre-game show, MARLINS WEEKLY, and three Marlins specials airing exclusively on Fox Sports Net throughout the season. Brad Heard, Fox Sports Net's Vice President, Programming and Operations made the announcement.

"We are delighted Craig has joined Fox Sports Net's talented team of announcers for Marlins baseball. He has covered South Florida sports for more than a decade and will make an exceptional addition to our network," noted Heard.

Prior to joining NBC, Minervini served as sports anchor and reporter at WPBF, the ABC affiliate in West Palm Beach.

Minervini brings with him extensive experience beyond the news desk. He has called play-by-play for Notre Dame football, the XFL, WWF, the Miami Fusion, and Syracuse Chiefs (AAA) baseball. He also serves as the South Florida correspondent for MSG Network.
