Fox Sports Net to Telecast 40 Cavs Games

World Champion LA Lakers tip-off Cavs season on Fox Sports Net

CLEVELAND, OHIO – Fox Sports Net today announced that 40 regular season Cavs games will be telecast live during the 2002-03 NBA season, beginning with the Cavs home opener against the World Champion LA Lakers on Tuesday, November 5 at 7:00 p.m. Fox Sports Net will telecast 27 home games from Gund Arena and 13 games from the road. Steve Liverani, Senior Vice President and General Manager, made the announcement.

Other highlights on Fox Sports Net’s Cavs schedule include games against Vince Carter and the Toronto Raptors (December 11) and the Eastern Conference Champion New Jersey Nets (February 25 and March 23).

Michael Reghi, in his ninth year behind the microphone for Cavs games, will handle the play-by-play duties for Fox Sports Net. His partner, Matt Guokas, returns for his sixth season as Fox Sports Net’s color analyst.

Prior to select road games, Fox Sports Net will air “CAVS FASTBREAK,” a Cavs-produced show, which will update fans on all the happenings of the team.

Bob Pennell will produce the games for Fox Sports Net. Doug Johnson will direct.
