FSN Bay Area Produces Black History Month Vignettes

Vignettes to Air During Warriors Broadcasts in February;
Warrior Greats Al Attles and Nate Thurmond Narrate Features

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – In celebration of Black History Month, FSN Bay Area has produced 10 separate Black History Month television vignettes highlighting the achievements of influential African-Americans. The vignettes will air during FSN Bay Area’s Golden State Warriors telecasts in the month of February. Former Warriors Al Attles and Nate Thurmond narrate the segments.

Oakland Larks – A west coast Negro league baseball team from the 1940s
Artie Wilson – First African American to play for Oakland Oaks, a PCL team
Condoleezza Rice – First African American woman to be Secretary of State
