NEW YORK – February 26, 2026 – AMC Networks unveiled a sneak peek from The Vampire Lestat, the highly anticipated next chapter in Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe. Featuring stars Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson, the new scene, “The Book,” offers a glimpse at Lestat’s (Reid) reaction to the release of Daniel Molloy’s (Eric Bogosian) book, Interview with the Vampire ahead of the series’ June premiere on AMC and AMC+.
In the new rock and roll centric season, the Vampire Lestat goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by “muses” from his wild and rebellious past. As his band’s popularity and star power rises, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.
In addition to Reid and Anderson, The Vampire Lestat stars Assad Zaman, Bogosian, Delainey Hayles and Jennifer Ehle and is executive produced by award-winning producer Mark Johnson, creator, writer and showrunner Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.
The scene comes hot on the heels of the recent debut of “Long Face,” Lestat’s first official rock single, and the new season is turning up the volume with a lineup of infectious new tracks set to roll out in the coming months. AMC Networks and Lakeshore Records released the single on the newly launched Vampire Lestat artist profile pages at major digital music services, including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. The song’s original music and lyrics, by series’ composer Daniel Hart and performed by Reid, will be featured in the series.
