Acorn TV Unveils First Look at New Original Series You’re Killing Me, Starring and Executive Produced by Brooke Shields

Murder Mystery Series Also Starring Amalia Williamson and Tom Cavanagh Set to Premiere This Spring

NEW YORK – March 10, 2026 – Acorn TV, the leading streaming service for international mysteries and crime dramas, today released a first look teaser and photos for its new original series You’re Killing Me. Executive produced by and starring Brooke Shields, along with stars Amalia Williamson (Sullivan’s Crossing) and Golden Globe-nominated Tom Cavanagh (The FlashEd), the six-episode murder mystery series premieres this spring. You’re Killing Me is created by Robin Bernheim Burger.

Set in a quaint New England town, the mystery follows bestselling novelist, “Allie” (Shields), who forms an unlikely alliance with an aspiring writer and podcaster “Andi” (Williamson), to find the killer of a close friend. Cavanagh stars as “Jack,” the new lead detective of the local Police Department and former city slicker who is trying to acclimate to the quirks of small-town life.

You’re Killing Me is a co-production between Topsail Entertainment and Shaftesbury. Bernheim and Shields executive produce alongside James Genn (The Good DoctorGinny and GeorgiaCharmed), who will also direct episodes 101/102, Michael Volpe for Topsail and Christina Jennings and Scott Garvie for Shaftesbury. Scott Smith (The MagiciansCall Me FitzSkins) will direct episodes 103/104 and Paul Fox (Schitt’s CreekThe Dark HoursAnne with an E) will direct episodes 105/106.
