AMC and Outback Steakhouse Present The Backyard Barbeque Sweepstakes to Celebrate Father's Day, June 7- 21

JERICHO, NEW YORK, June 1, 2004 – AMC and Outback Steakhouse serve up the beef June 7-21 with a Father's Day promotion that will give viewers a chance to win a "Dad-sized" barbeque and one of 25 Outback Steakhouse dinner certificates.

The grand prize winner will be awarded a choice of a barbeque for 50 people in their home, or lunch for 50 at an Outback Steakhouse restaurant. Twenty-five second-prize winners will be awarded an Outback Steakhouse dinner certificate, worth $45.00.

The promotion will be touted on both the AMC and Outback Steakhouse websites via special links on each homepage, and Specially designed promotional spots and bumpers will air on AMC to promote the sweepstakes. Outback Steakhouse is a new advertiser on the network.

This promotion is part of AMC's Father's Day on-air festival "Made for Men Weekend" on Saturday and Sunday, June 19- 20. The festival features films such as ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, EL DORADO and ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ. The on-air event is also sponsored by Sears and Pfizer.
