AMC Host John Burke to Emcee First-Ever Performance of The Radio City Christmas Spectacular in Cleveland at The State Theatre on December 6

JERICHO, NY, November 16, 2001 – AMC host John Burke will emcee the first-ever showing of the beloved Radio City Christmas Spectacular® featuring the world-famous Rockettes® in Cleveland at the State Theatre on Thursday, December 6. The show begins at 8:00 PM. Mr. Burke's appearance is sponsored by AMC and Adelphia Communications.

The State Theatre is located at 1519 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, and is one of Playhouse Square's collection of theaters including the Allen, Palace, Ohio and Hanna. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular will enchant children of all ages with live holiday entertainment where snowmen shimmy, reindeer fly, elves rap, and the Radio City Rockettes perform their fancy footwork and eye-high kicks. Included in the show are classic scenes such as "The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and "The Living Nativity." John Burke began his acting career in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia where he majored in Journalism and minored in Theatre at Georgia State University. Currently, he is one of the hosts on AMC, the premiere 24-hour movie network featuring award-winning original productions about the world of American film. In this role Burke introduces films on AMC, providing little known details and insight to the movies that are about to air on the network. He also hosts AMC's BEHIND THE SCREEN, an Emmy award-winning, weekly, original series airing on Sunday nights at 10:00 PM (ET), which showcases classic and contemporary Hollywood and explores the links between them.
