AMC Names Allison Hoffman Vice President, Creative & Brand Strategy

New York, NY – August 17, 2010 – AMC announced today that it has named Allison Hoffman to the position of Vice President, Creative & Brand Strategy, a newly created position. Hoffman joined AMC in 2005 as Director of Consumer Marketing for the network. In her new position, Hoffman reports to Linda Schupack, Senior Vice President of Marketing. The announcement is effective immediately.

In her new role, Hoffman will serve as a key creative strategist and will be part of the team responsible for establishing and developing a comprehensive and ever-evolving brand position and ensuring creative consistency and quality across all off-air media and constituents.

"Ali came on board at a critical time for AMC – just as the network was making its transition into original programming. She’s both a great creative and strategic thinker who has been central to AMC’s award-winning marketing campaigns, kicked off by Broken Trail and most recently Mad Men and Rubicon," said Schupack. "In her new position, she will expand her responsibilities while continuing to bring her enormous talents to the network."

Hoffman has worked on consumer marketing for AMC originals Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Prisoner and Rubicon, as well as the Emmy and Golden-Globe award campaigns for AMC’s original productions. She was also a member of the team that developed and implemented AMC’s brand positioning, "Story Matters HereSM."

Prior to joining AMC, Hoffman was an Account Planning Director at Ziccardi Partners, a New York-based advertising agency. She has also held positions at Brand Leadership and Mitchell Madison Group. Hoffman received a Bachelor of Science from Brown University.
