AMC Networks Announces Promotions and Expanded Responsibilities for Key Members of Its Scripted Programming Group

Group Has Been Instrumental in Driving Company’s Original Programming Efforts Across the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, The Walking Dead Universe and Series Like Dark Winds and the Forthcoming Monsieur Spade, Parish and Orphan Black: Echoes

NEW YORK, NY, January 3, 2024 – AMC Networks today announced promotions and expanded responsibilities for key members of its Santa Monica-based programming group, particularly in the area of scripted development for AMC Networks and AMC Studios. 

Ben Haigh and Josh Sizer have each been promoted to senior vice president of programming and, together, oversee the company’s domestic scripted programming function, reporting to Ben Davis, executive vice president of programming for AMC Networks and AMC Studios, who joined the company nearly 20 years ago. Haigh and Sizer have been instrumental in driving the company’s scripted programming efforts on series across the Anne Rice Immortal Universe and The Walking Dead Universe, in addition to Dark Winds, Silo, the forthcoming Parish, and others. 

Haigh joined AMC Networks in 2020, after positions at UCLA, Shore Z Productions and Columbia Pictures. Sizer also joined AMC Networks in 2020, after positions at DreamCrew, HBO, William Morris Endeavor. He began his career as an intern with IFC Films. 

Key members of the scripted team reporting to Haigh and Sizer are Jack Glascott, who has been promoted to vice president of domestic scripted programming, Alexis Greer, who has been promoted to director of domestic scripted programming, and Amanda Lloyd, who recently joined the company from HBO Max as manager of scripted programming. 

Noel Manzano was recently promoted to senior vice president of international scripted programming and development, reporting to Davis. On Manzano’s team, Corey Schmalzle and Samantha Perelman have both been promoted to director of international scripted programming. Having worked on series like Gangs of London, the forthcoming Monsieur Spade and Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, Schmalzle and Perelman are taking on additional responsibilities across AMC Studios and the company’s domestic scripted programming efforts as well. Drew Worobow continues in his role as vice president of AMC Studios, also reporting to Davis.
