AMC Networks Signs Licensing Agreement With Twentieth Television

Film Titles Include “An Affair To Remember,” “Class Action,” “The Crucible,” “9 To Five” and “Eyewitness”

NEW ORLEANS, LA, – AMC NETWORKS has signed a major licensing agreement with Twentieth Television, it was announced today by David Sehring, senior vice president, acquisitions and programming. The agreement includes more than 40 films that will be shown on AMERICAN MOVIE CLASSICS and ROMANCE CLASSICS from March 2000 through 2003.


The networks’ deal with Fox adds a substantial number of popular titles to AMC’s library of licensed films. Classic titles include AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER, with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr; HARRY AND TONTO, with Art Carney, who won an Academy Award
