We mourn the passing of Leonard Tow, who served on the board of Cablevision and then AMC Networks as a founding director as of 2011, helping to guide AMCN through experienced leadership and sage advice. In business, Dr. Tow was a true pioneer in the cable industry, playing a major role in the creation of cable television and helping shape the modern media landscape. But it was his commitment to philanthropy in so many forms that will be an even more lasting legacy. He was an exceptional visionary, leader and human being and we will miss him, even as the impact of his extraordinary life goes on.
