AMC/BBC Co-Production of New Season Premieres Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 10 PM ET & PT/9 C

The Smart, Stylish and Sexy Original Series Stars Legendary Actor Robert Vaughn, Marc Warren, Jaime Murray and Robert Glenister; New Castmember Ashley Walters Joins Troupe

Hollywood Favorite Robert Wagner Guest Stars in Premiere Episode

PASADENA, CA, January 12, 2007 – What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas… unless you've been scammed by the sexy and stylish crew of grifters hailing from the UK. Not to be restricted solely to London "marks," the cons of AMC's critically-acclaimed weekly, one-hour original series HUSTLE expand their crimi-nal ventures internationally to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The new season of six episodes premieres on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 10 PM ET & PT/9 C. As a new leader of the grifter crew is revealed and the gang takes their deftly executed scams across the pond, will they be as successful or in dire danger when they're confronted with American baddies?

Iconic Hollywood film and television actor Robert Wagner, known for his con artist and thief roles, will star in the series' first episode. Wagner's grifter-like characters include an ex-con in "Switch," a playboy secret agent in "It Takes a Thief," and an infamous jewel thief in The Pink Panther.

The engaging series stars Robert Vaughn (The Magnificent Seven, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.") as Albert, the veteran "roper." Joining the cast is new grifter character Billy Bond, portrayed by Ashley Walters, a British rapper and actor known for his work with the chart topping So Solid Crew, and brings a hip edge to the series. Walters' film credits include the lead in Bullet Boy, Get Rich or Die Tryin' and he has just completed filming Sugar House Lane with Andy Serkis. In addition to Vaughn and Walters, HUSTLE features Marc Warren (Colour Me Kubrick) as Danny, the fiercely talented "inside man" and new leader of the crew; Jaime Murray (Botched) as Stacie, the beautiful and brainy "bait;" and Robert Glenister (Victoria Station) as Ash, the jack-of-all-trades "fixer."
"AMC is so proud to bring this critically acclaimed drama back for a new season of cons, and to introduce this slick cast to a whole new country full of unsuspecting marks," commented Rob Sorcher, Executive Vice President, Programming and Production. "Hustle's stylish and cinematic quality makes this series an anchor of our original programming lineup for 2007."

Slickly made, expertly cast and with a filmic confidence, HUSTLE is a weekly, hour-long series that follows the exploits of a crew of London-based con artists who pull off daringly intricate stings to swindle money from greedy, morally corrupt "marks." Set against the glamorous fast pace of London, the series offers plenty of action, suspense, style and humor, and an occasional touch of romance.

Surreal camerawork and cinematic photography provide an inescapable comparison to highly stylized big screen movies such as Catch Me If You Can, The Italian Job and Ocean's Eleven. As the series progresses, the viewer delves deeper into the hidden world of scammers to reveal the personalities and perverse artistry of the high-end confidence game.

Produced in association with AMC, the series is made by Kudos Film and Television, one of the UK's leading drama companies, for the BBC. HUSTLE is produced by Jolyon Symonds, inspired by an idea from Bharat Nalluri ("MI-5"), and written and created by Tony Jordan (Chief Storyline Consultant, "EastEnders"). Executive producers are Jane Featherstone ("Touching Evil," "MI-5") and Simon Crawford Collins ("MI-5") of Kudos.

HUSTLE Season 1 is currently available on DVD at local retailers or at BBCAmericashop.com
