AMCtv.com Launches First Ever The Walking Dead Motion Comic Book

San Diego, CA – July 21, 2010 – AMC announced today from Comic Con the launch of the first ever "The Walking Dead" motion comic episode on its website, www.amctv.com. The animation is based on the first 13.5 pages of the original "The Walking Dead" comic, created and written by Robert Kirkman with art by Tony Moore. The episode was produced by AMC Digital, with motion comic production by Juice Films. "The Walking Dead" series is set to premiere in October 2010 during AMC’s Fearfest.

  • Director: Jake Strider Hughes of Juice Films, who also directed "The Watchmen" motion comic.

  • Voice talent: Phil Lamarr, whose credits include, "Mad TV", Pulp Fiction, "Family Guy" and "Futurama, "among other animated projects.

  • Original Musical Score: Lennie Moore, an award-winning motion comic and game music composer.
