(CHICAGO) – Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry, the NBA’s #2 and #4 overall draft selections, join newcomers Eddie Robinson, Greg Anthony, returning fan favorite Charles Oakley and standouts Ron Mercer and Marcus Fizer, for an exciting new season of Chicago Bulls basketball on Fox Sports Net. This season, fans can look forward to head coach Tim Floyd’s squad in action 48 times on Fox Sports Net (46 regular season and two pre-season), once again, the most Bulls games covered by any television network.

Fox Sports Net will carry the season opener live from the United Center as the Bulls host the division rival Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, October 31 at 7:30 PM. All of the festivities of Opening Night will be covered in the Dodge of Midlothian Chicago Sports Tonight Bulls pre-game show beginning at 7:00 PM. Prior to the start of the regular season, FSN will also carry a pair of pre-season home games on Wednesday, October 17 at 7:30 PM when the Bulls host the Los Angeles Clippers and again on Friday, October 26 at 7:30 PM against the Denver Nuggets.

This year’s regular season Bulls schedule on Fox Sports Net features match-ups against the NBA’s very best teams and players including a road game against Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant and the two-time defending champion Los Angles Lakers (Feb. 6), a pair of games against NBA MVP Allen Iverson and the Eastern Conference champion Philadelphia 76ers (Mar. 28 & Apr. 15), plus, exclusive live coverage of the triumphant return of Michael Jordan and the Washington Wizards second visit back the United Center on March 1.

Fox Sports Net’s unrivaled coverage of the Bulls is led by the veteran announcing tandem of Tom Dore and Johnny “Red” Kerr, who begin their tenth season together for FSN. Eric Collins will once again handle sideline reports for all Bulls home games.

The Dodge of Midlothian Chicago Sports Tonight Bulls pre-game show, featuring the studio team of Eric Goodman and Bulls legend Norm Van Lier, will air a half-hour prior to every Bulls telecast on FSN. Goodman and Van Lier will also host half-time intermissions and Chicago Sports Tonight post-game coverage. Plus, the Chicago Sports Report, airing nightly at 10:00 PM or immediately following games finishing after 10:00 PM, will provide viewers with the most complete post-game recaps and player interviews from every Bulls home and away game.

“The Bulls are continuing to build their foundation for the future and we’re looking forward to covering this storied franchise for what looks to be an exciting season of NBA basketball in Chicago,” said James J. Corno, Senior Vice President/ General Manager for Fox Sports Net Chicago. “From our expert game, pre-game and post-game coverage to our wrap-ups on the Chicago Sports Report, along with our weekly, behind-the-scenes footage on Full Access, viewers can count on us for the very best in Bulls coverage.”

This season’s Bulls schedule on Fox Sports Net includes 19 home games and 27 road match-ups during the regular season. A schedule breakdown includes 32 games against Eastern Conference opponents, two games against the rival New York Knicks, including a Thanksgiving weekend afternoon road match-up (Nov. 24, plus Feb. 20), a battle against Tracy McGrady, Grant Hill and the Orlando Magic (Dec. 5), three games facing Vince Carter, Hakeem Olajuwan and the Toronto Raptors (Dec. 20, Jan. 9 & Apr. 3), a Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday afternoon match-up against Indiana (Jan. 21, other Indiana games include Oct. 31, Dec. 7 & Jan. 11), plus a “homecoming” game for former Bull Elton Brand, along with local preps standouts Quentin Richardson, Darius Miles and Corey Maggette of the Los Angeles Clippers (Mar. 8).
