NEW YORK, NY, February 4, 2007 – Rainbow Media announced today the promotion of Christine Bragan to Vice President, Marketing and Communications from Director, Marketing and Communications. In her expanded role, Bragan will lead Rainbow Media's industry relations, public affairs, internal communications and corporate marketing initiatives. She will continue to report to Ellen Kroner, Rainbow's Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Marketing.

"I am pleased to recognize Christine Bragan's contributions to Rainbow with this promotion," said Kroner. "She has been active in the cable industry for many years, developing a broad network of relationships and a strong understanding of industry issues and opportunities. This expertise, coupled with her personal drive and creativity, has contributed greatly to advancing the industry profile of Rainbow, its executives and each of its brands."

Bragan joined Rainbow Corporate Communications in 2003 ,working on executive communications and events, negotiating and expanding Rainbow's relationships with industry and public affairs organizations, supervising Rainbow's corporate trade marketing, managing Rainbow's presence at national trade shows, and providing strategic trade marketing and public affairs support for key network initiatives.

Prior to working at Rainbow, Bragan held various positions with parent company Cablevision, where she developed and implemented company-wide community affairs strategies to support marketing and public affairs goals. Two key programs she expanded included: PSA Day, an award-winning initiative designed to help local nonprofit groups produce original PSAs and air them on cable free of charge, which she expanded from Long Island to the broader New York metropolitan area; and the Power to Learn Scholarship Program, an award-winning initiative that grew to award 105 graduating high school students in Cablevision service areas with scholarship money to assist with higher education costs.

She is an active member of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), the Association for Cable Communicators (ACC), and the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). Ms. Bragan is a WICT Betsy Magnus Leadership Institute fellow and a graduate of CTPAA's (now ACC's) Public Affairs Institute.
