CLEVELAND, Ohio – Fox Sports Net Ohio Senior Vice President/General Manager Steve Liverani and Columbus Crew President/General Manager Jim Smith announced today that the Crew's game at Kansas City on May 3 will be televised on Fox Sports Net. Kickoff for the game at Arrowhead Stadium is 8 p.m.
"As Ohio's leading regional sports network, Fox Sports Net welcomes the return of the Columbus Crew to our programming line-up," said Liverani. "The Crew have terrific fans throughout the state, and we're thrilled to bring MLS action home to them."
The Crew returns to Fox Sports Net for the first time since the 1999 season. Columbus is 2-1-1 on the year after Saturday's 1-0 loss against the NY/NJ MetroStars.
"The prospects on the field for this season are very high and we are glad that Fox Sports Net will be a part of it," said Smith. "The organization is very excited about the return to Fox Sports Net and we hope to grow the relationship into a much bigger partnership in the future."
