101-Game Schedule Includes Four Games Against the NY Yankees in April, Plus, Home Opener vs. Kansas City on April 13!

(CHICAGO) – The 2004 Chicago White Sox, led by perennial American League MVP candidate Magglio Ordonez (.317, 29 HR, 99 RBI in '03), slugger Carlos Lee (career highs of 31 HR, 113 RBI), a solid 1-2 starting punch of Esteban Loaiza (career high 21-game winner & AL strikeout leader with 207) and lefty Mark Buehrle (career high 35 starts), the addition of Japan's all-time saves leader Shingo Takatsu, along with two-time AL MVP Frank Thomas, are ready to give White Sox fans plenty of thrills this summer and Fox Sports Net will be there all season long as the south siders make their drive toward a division championship. This year, fans can look forward to 101 White Sox telecasts (one spring training and 100 regular season), featuring 11 battles against their AL Central Division nemesis, the Kansas City Royals.

The first of 100 live, regular season White Sox games can be seen on Wednesday, April 7 at 1:00 PM when the White Sox, guided by former fan favorite/new manager Ozzie Guillen, travel to face Kansas City. The White Sox-Royals game, along with every White Sox game on FSN this season, will be preceded by a half-hour edition of ATA White Sox PRE and immediately followed by White Sox POST.

Also in the first week of the season, Fox Sports Net will carry three White Sox games against Alex Rodriguez and the American League Champion New York Yankees (April 8, 9 & 11), along with a home game against the Yankees on April 21. FSN will also carry the home opener against Kansas City live from U.S. Cellular Field on Tues., April 13 at 1:00 PM (a special one-hour edition of ATA White Sox PRE starts at 12:00 PM).

Prior to the start of the regular season, Fox Sports Net will bring Chicago baseball fans a special treat with coverage of the Chicago White Sox vs. Chicago Cubs in spring training action on Friday, March 19 at 2:00 PM (ATA White Sox PRE begins at 1:30 PM) live from Tucson, AZ.

Plus, before the regular season starts up, Fox Sports Net will give White Sox fans an inside look at this year's team with the debut of Chicago Baseball Xtra premiering Sunday, March 21 at 10:00 PM. The one-hour preview of the 2004 season includes profiles on players, analysis of off-season changes, spring training developments and interviews with a number of White Sox players and coaches. (NOTE: Official press release regarding this new weekly White Sox and Cubs program coming soon.)

Ken "Hawk" Harrelson begins his 15th-straight season as play-by-play announcer for all Fox Sports Net telecasts and teams up with former White Sox outfielder Darrin Jackson for the fifth-straight year. FSN's pre/post-game studio tandem throughout the season features Damon Andrews and former White Sox slugger Bill Melton.

White Sox fans will be treated to the very best match-ups on this year's schedule, including two interleague, cross-town match-ups against Sammy Sosa and the Chicago Cubs on Sat., June 27 at 3:00 PM from U.S. Cellular Field (an expanded edition of ATA White Sox PRE begins at 2:00 PM for the June 27 game). Plus, as part of the Cubs season schedule on FSN, fans will also be able to watch an additional White Sox-Cubs regular season battle on Fri., July 2 at 2:20 PM live from Wrigley Field.
