Fox Sports Net Dominates With Florida College Football

38-Game Schedule Includes Conference Powerhouse Miami Hurricanes,
South Florida Bulls Plus Live Weekly National Match Ups

(SUNRISE, FL) – Fox Sports Net Florida today released the regional sports network’s 2003 college football telecast schedule, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Jeff Genthner, made the announcement. The comprehensive schedule includes 12 University of Miami Hurricanes match ups, three live University of South Florida Bulls games and 23 live or tape-delayed Big Ten, Pac-10 and Big 12 contests (complete schedule follows).

“Fox Sports Net’s college football schedule reinforces the network’s commitment to hometown sports, offering exclusive coverage of local teams that compliments a full line-up of action from around the country,” noted Genthner.

The University of Miami, looking to return to the national championship game for a third consecutive year, returns to Fox Sports Net Florida for the ninth consecutive season. Ten out of the 12 regular season Hurricane games will air on tape delay Sundays at 5:00pm; the two remaining games will air on tape delay Friday evenings, Louisiana Tech (on FSN 8/29 at 6:30pm) and West Virginia (on FSN 10/3 at 7:00pm). Other important match ups for Miami include the classic rivalry against Florida (on FSN 9/7), and meetings with Boston College (on FSN 9/21), Florida State (on FSN 10/12) and Syracuse (on FSN 11/16). Frank Forte provides the play-by-play coverage and David Heffernan the color analysis for all Hurricanes games on Fox Sports Net.

Coach Jim Leavitt and the University of South Florida Bulls return with an aggressive schedule for the 2003 season. Fox Sports Net will televise three USF Bulls games live, featuring tough conference match ups with Louisville (on FSN 10/4 at 7:00pm), Cincinnati (on FSN 11/1 at 7:00pm) and Memphis (on FSN 11/29 at 2:00pm). Al Keck and Doug Graber team up to call the action this year, providing play-by-play and color analysis, respectively.

Fox Sports Net will once again showcase the very best college football match ups from the Big Ten, Big 12, and Pac-10 conferences with its 2003 national schedule. With premier teams like UCLA, Arizona and Nebraska in the line up, viewers will have ample assortment of game options each weekend through the college football season.
