FOX Sports Net Florida Announces Debut of ‘The National Sports Report’ April 25th

Next Tuesday, April 25th brings viewers in Florida the debut of the nightly live sports news show

Sunrise, FL – April 19, 2000 – FOX Sports Net Florida today announced its debut of THE NATIONAL SPORTS REPORT next Tuesday, April 25th at 10:00pm and Midnight. The twice nightly live sports news and information show will debut in Florida immediately following Tuesday night’s FOX Sports Net telecast of the Florida Marlins and San Francisco Giants.

Formerly titled FOX Sports News, THE NATIONAL SPORTS REPORT is one of the most comprehensive sports news programs available that combines the excitement of up-to-the-minute hometown action with the day’s latest national sports news. FOX Sports Net’s state-of-the-art production studios and expert team of anchors, analysts and reporters will bring Florida sports viewers the nightly live NATIONAL SPORTS REPORT at 10:00pm and Midnight, or immediately following live primetime programming.

In the
case of a live telecast running past 10:00pm or
Midnight, viewers will receive the 11:00pm or
1:00am live edition of THE NATIONAL SPORTS
REPORT. The anchor lineup for the nightly
NATIONAL SPORTS REPORT is as follows:

Sunday-Thursday: 10pm EST Keith Olbermann and Kevin Frazier
  11pm EST Chris Myers and Steve Lyons
  Midnight EST Chris Myers and Steve Lyons
  1:00am EST Keith Olbermann and Kevin Frazier
Friday and Saturday: All Shows Van Earl Wright, Jeane Zelasko, Lionel Bienvenu, Jon Kelley, Tom Murray and Chris Rose will rotate as anchors. They also provide commentary to the Sunday through Thursday shows.

FOX Sports Net Florida will premiere the REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT in mid-July as a complement to the NATIONAL SPORTS REPORT. The REGIONAL SPORTS REPORT will air seven nights a week at 11:00pm.


As of April 25th, CNN/SI will no longer be seen on FOX Sports Net Florida.
