SAN FRANCISCO, CA – FSN Bay Area and Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) announced today the FSN Bay Area Collectors’ Series promotion for the 2005-2006 National Basketball Association season. FSN Bay Area and BART will produce basketball card themed-BART tickets for the remainder of the 2005-2006 NBA season, highlighting select players from the Golden State Warriors and featuring the network’s Warriors telecast schedule printed on the tickets. The promotion begins today (Tuesday, January 3rd) and will run through the end of March. The announcement was made by Jeff Krolik, Senior Vice President and General Manager, FSN Bay Area and BART Senior Marketing Representative David Martindale.

The FSN Bay Area Collectors’ Series follows a similar promotion created by FSN Bay Area and BART during the 2005 Major League Baseball season for the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics. The FSN Bay Area Collectors’ Series was the first advertisement to be printed on BART tickets in BART’s 33-year history.

The 2006 FSN Bay Area Collectors’ Series promotion tips off January 3rd with over 1 million limited-edition BART tickets to be available system-wide to commuters. Each card will list player information and FSN Bay Area’s schedule for the month in which the tickets are issued. Two different cards per month will be released, each featuring Warriors players.

The BART tickets will feature Troy Murphy and Mickael Pietrus in January. Mike Dunleavy and Adonal Foyle will appear in February, and Jason Richardson and Baron Davis will complete the season in March.

“FSN Bay Area is pleased to announce the return of the FSN Bay Area Collectors’ Series BART tickets,” said Krolik. “With the success of the 2005 baseball series, we’re happy to team with BART again to offer Bay Area fans and commuters the limited edition BART tickets for the 2005-2006 Golden State Warriors season.”

“We’re excited to join FSN Bay Area once again to produce these unique transit tickets,” said David Martindale, BART Senior Marketing Representative. “The Giants and A’s tickets were a huge hit and we expect nothing less with the Warriors tickets.”
