Fuse Turns Up the Volume With 7th Avenue Drop, New Fan-Based Show Premiering New Artist Releases and Live Performances

Award Winners and Fan Favorites Puddle of Mudd Appear
to Promote Drop of Highly Anticipated Second Album "Life on Display"

First Episode Premieres on Fuse on November 25th at 9pm ET/6pm PT

New York, NY – November 20, 2003 – Fuse, the only all-music, viewer-influenced network, announced today that it will premiere 7th Avenue Drop, an innovative, fan-centered new music show. Created to excite music fans about major album "drops" on the day of their release, 7th Avenue Drop will preview artists' new music releases through interactive interviews and special live performances. Filmed in Fuse's New York City street-front "7th Avenue" studio, the show will be the premiere destination for fans to get the most exclusive look at their favorite artists. The first episode of 7th Avenue Drop will debut on November 25th at 9pm ET/6pm PT, when multi-platinum rock artists Puddle of Mudd appear to promote the release of their highly-anticipated second album, Life on Display.

7th Avenue Drop will be an interactive experience, driven by the fans and viewers. With the help of a Fuse VJ, the viewers will drive the format of the show by voting on the songs the artists will perform live in-studio, as well as submitting the interview questions the artists will field. A specially designed feature on Fuse's website (www.fuse.tv) will solicit questions for the show and monitor the song votes. Fans will also be a major presence in-studio, with audience members attending the show from artist fan clubs and the web. Designed to best capture the spontaneity and intimacy of the interaction between the artists and fans, 7th Avenue Drop will be shot live-to-tape.

"Fuse is the only music network that is entirely dedicated to and driven by the voice of its audience," said Marc Juris, President of Fuse. "7th Avenue Drop is Fuse's answer to connecting the fans to their favorite artists and helping them discover new music in a unique and very real way."

The first episode of 7th Avenue Drop on November 25th will feature award-winning and critically acclaimed rock band Puddle of Mudd. Puddle of Mudd – Wesley Scantlin (vocals, guitar), Paul Phillips (guitar), Douglas Ardito (bass) and Greg Upchurch (drums) – will perform three songs from their highly anticipated second album Life on Display, which drops on the same day. The fans will have a chance to vote in advance on a fourth song that the band will also perform in-studio. Fans of the band who will attend the first episode of 7th Avenue Drop will be pulled from Puddle of Mudd's fan club and a targeted web promotion.

Life on Display is Puddle of Mudd's long-awaited follow-up to their debut album, 2001's Come Clean, which sold over 5 million copies and spawned no less than four #1 alternative and rock radio hit singles ("Blurry," "Control," "Drift and Die" and "She Hates Me"). The band won four Billboard Music Awards in 2002: Rock Artist of the Year; Modern Rock Artist of the Year; Rock Track of the Year ("Blurry") and Modern Rock Track of the Year ("Blurry").

The premiere episode of 7th Avenue Drop with Puddle of Mudd will re-air four times, on Tuesday, November 25th at 2am ET/11pm PT, Saturday, November 29th at 8pm ET/5pm PT, Saturday, November 29th at 1am ET/10pm PT and Sunday, November 30th at 6pm ET/3pm PT.
