Glenn Oakley Appointed SVP, Global Operations and Business Development for VOOM HD Networks

NEW YORK, NY, March 13, 2007 -VOOM HD Networks, the world's largest and most diverse suite of HD channels, announced today the appointment of Glenn Oakley to Senior Vice President of Global Operations and Business Development. Oakley was formerly the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Rainbow Media. In his new role, he will take responsibility for managing the expanding operations for the VOOM 15 channels, continue to build upon the global distribution of VOOM HD businesses, as well as identify and capitalize on digital media and multi-platform business opportunities. He reports directly to Greg Moyer, General Manager for VOOM HD Networks.

"Glenn helped develop VOOM HD Networks as a global brand, maintaining a strong, unique commitment to providing compelling, original HD content around the world," said Moyer. "VOOM is a pioneer in HD programming, filling an important content void within the international marketplace where the trend toward HDTV is ascending at such a fast pace. Having Glenn solely focused on the VOOM brand will open up more opportunities for audiences to experience VOOM internationally."

Over the past year and a half, the VOOM HD brand has seen exponential growth in the international marketplace. In addition to the 500 programming hours sold to more than 50 countries, the global VOOM HD channel has launched on Scandinavia's Canal Digital, Sweden's Com Hem, Estonia's Elion and Latvia's IZZI – a reach of nearly 5 million households – and the channel will make two major launches in Asia this year. Additionally, VOOM has been deployed in Canada on three branded channels operated by High Fidelity TV. With Rainbow, Oakley has been instrumental in business expansion, such as creating its content sales and syndication business, and gaining distribution of American Movie Classics in Canada.

A 23-year cable industry veteran, Oakley was formerly senior vice president, corporate strategy and international operations for Showtime Networks for more than five years. In that role, he was responsible for developing strategies and tactics for Showtime Networks, as well as its International Division's global networks, focusing on technology trends for the transition and deployment of digital services. He managed the launch and rollout of its HDTV channels, and was Chairman of the Board of Directors for Showtime Extreme in Spain and Showtime in Turkey. Oakley was also responsible for compliance and Viacom's Business Code of Conduct efforts in Showtime's international ventures. Prior to that, he held progressively increasing business strategy, planning and sales roles at Showtime as well as marketing and sales management positions at Time Warner Cable and Continental Cablevision (now Comcast).

Oakley holds a master's degree in business administration from Stern Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College. He is a member of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA).
