Hewlett Packard Signs-On for Third Quarter Ad Buy on AMC to Include Sunday Morning ShootOut and Special Primetime Movie Block in August

Customized Packages Attracting Key Advertisers

New York, NY, July 25, 2006 – AMC, basic cable's premiere destination dedicated to movies and movie culture, announced today that Hewlett Packard has signed on to for the third quarter of Sunday Morning Shootout, the network's half-hour weekly series hosted by entertainment industry veterans, Peter Bart and Peter Guber, featuring interviews with some of the industries most prominent producers, directors, writers and actors. As part of the agreement, AMC will create Hewlett Packard branded trivia focusing on technology and movies that will air as bumpers during the Sunday Morning Shootout and during the primetime programming block on the network. The package also includes tagged tune-ins, billboards, commercials and online presence at AMCtv.com.

Hewlett Packard will also advertise during the network's primetime daily movie block the nights of August 15th – August 18th. Movies include The Cowboy Way starring Keifer Sutherland, White Men Can't Jump starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson, Jurassic Park starring Laura Dern, The Last Samurai starring Tom Cruise and The Fly starring Jeffrey Goldblum. During that week, Hewlett Packard will receive an enhanced billboard package that will feature branded copy via a voice over promoting their "HP QuickPlay" campaign. The campaign will include their tagline, "the computer is personal again" outlining how entertainment of popular music and movies is accessible with just a touch of a button.

Last month, Sunday Morning Shootout celebrated its 100th episode with Director and Producer Steven Spielberg. The series has gained both critical and industry acclaim for its timely and relevant discussion topics and its roster of A-list guests. Since its premiere in October 2003, the show has featured many of Hollywood's hottest actors, directors and producers, including: Charlize Theron, Mel Gibson, Jack Black, Laura Linney, Jim Caviezel, Matthew Perry, Garry Marshall, director Jonathon Lynn, Andy Garcia, Cassian Elwes, Art Linson, Mark Gill, Harvey Weinstein, The Wayans Brothers- Keenan, Marlon and Shawn, Irwin Winkler, Stephen Sommers, Kevin Spacey, Mike Burns, Lucy Fisher, Paula Weinstein, Stacey Sher, Adrien Brody, Denzel Washington, Jude Law, John Malkovich, Patricia Clarkson, Nicholas Cage, Dennis Quaid and Virginia Madsen, among others.
