IFC Lets Julianne Moore “Rant” About Life in Front of and Behind the Camera in January/February 2003 Issue

The Edition Marks the First Annual Awards Issue

IFCRant, The Independent Film Channel's (IFC) consumer magazine bent on expanding the voice of Independent film, heads straight into its January 2003 issue featuring cover girl Julianne Moore, a recipient of special acting honors at the Gotham Awards in New York City. In this issue, Moore, star of Boogie Nights and Hannibal talks about her starring role in the current film Far From Heaven.

The January/February issue is the first annual Awards Issue for IFCRant, in which Moore joins Philip Seymour Hoffman, Salma Hayek and Adrien Brody as IFCRant's choices for the best film performances of 2002. The Awards Issue salutes these four actors who helped make the past movie-going year worthwhile, as well as creating its own RANTLIST: The Rant Awards with such categories as Best Movie According to Our Mothers and the We'll Pay You To Keep Your Clothes On Award.

True to the magazine's promise to deliver the first interactive, cross-platform publication, film lovers will also be able to experience short segments on IFC as well as exclusive footage online at www.ifctv.com.
